Police and paramedics scrambled to the M8 near J12, at Riddrie, on Sunday evening after a two-vehicle crash. Diversions were in place for over two hours before the road was fully reopened.
Two people involved in a crash on the busy M8 in Glasgow were raced to hospital while the road remained closed for over two hours.
Police and paramedics responding to the two vehicle smash descended on J12, near Riddrie, at around 7.05pm on Sunday, September 3. The injured people were raced to hospital by paramedics. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.05pm on Sunday, September 3 police received a report of a two vehicle crash on the M8 near to junction 12 at Riddrie. "Emergency services attended and two people were taken to hospital by ambulance.
