The section of Charing Cross between Woodlands Road/St George's Road and Sauchiehall Street will be closed for the duration of the works alongside a number of other changes listed below.
Motorists have been warned to look out for diversions as roadworks are set to begin today which will see a section of the M8 at Charing Cross closed for five months.
Once these works are completed, Glasgow City Council, in partnership with Sustrans, will undertake walking and cycling enhancements at this location.
