Darren Tait, 26, from Govan, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court last week after he previously pleaded guilty to being in possession of the blade. He was apprehended after officers were called to a disturbance at a block of flats on Luath Street in the Southside, on May 30 this year.As they arrived on the first floor, they noticed a large amount of glass on the landing, mainly outside a flat that belonged to a friend of Tait. When police climbed up to the second floor, a flat door swung open and Tait stumbled out.Officers instructed him to drop the knife but he refused.
