A Glasgow mum’s painful brain disorder turned her into a “zombie” and “took her life away”.
Tracie Di-Meo has been battling FND, a functional Neurological Disorder that leaves her exhausted and nauseous while also dealing with a stutter and mobility issues.
It means the mum is out almost £5000 as she continues to battle the disorder which she hopes to raise awareness for. She said: “My disorder has taken my life away, I am in constant pain, I do yoga and meditation but medication does not work.“I was going on holiday to a villa in Lanzarote for 10 days, but because of my condition getting worse I can’t look after myself or my autistic son while abroad.
She said: “I explain my disorder as the brain sending messages to parts of the body, my brain mixes the messages up.
