Police are appealing for witnesses after the city centre 'stabbing'
A TEENAGER was"stabbed" in broad daylight on Tuesday in Glasgow city centre.Now, the force has revealed the victim was a 16-year-old boy.The 'serious assault' happened on Union Street next to the junction with Gordon Street, outside Tesco Express.The teenager was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment following the incident.
Constable Craig Whyte, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are at an early“As the incident happened close to a road we are also appealing for drivers with dashcams to review footage to establish if their cameras have captured the incident. “Anyone with information that may assist our investigation should contact 101, quoting reference 2141 of March 7. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
