A number of roads are now closed to drivers or restricted with public transport with bus routes also affected.
Across the next two weeks, drivers are being asked to plan their journey before they leave by checking which roads they won't have access to and if necessary, taking a different route.During this time, a number of athletes have been spotted around the city with Sir Chris Hoy dining in popular restaurant India Quay.
Are there any Glasgow bus diversions in place during the UCI Cycling World Championships? Yes. Due to these road restrictions, diversions will be in place across the Glasgow network with FirstBus announcing that some of their services will operate a diversion.
