This is the second year running that St. Enoch Centre has teamed up with the charity to raise donations for children in need across the city and surrounding areas.
Santa is coming back to Glasgow's St. Enoch Centre, with the mall's magical Grotto event helping to raise much-needed funds for children in need across the city and surrounding areas. This is the second year running that St. Enoch Centre has teamed up with local charity Glasgow’s Spirit of Christmas to help those who need it over the festive season.
The centre is donating the full £10 ticket price for its Santa’s Grotto experience to Glasgow Spirit of Christmas. Children visiting the grotto will get to write and post their Christmas letters before meeting Santa and receiving a small gift. Established in 2014, Glasgow’s Spirit of Christmas provides gifts for the 31,779 children living in relative poverty in Glasgow. The charity invites people to become a ‘Secret Santa’ and donate a gift or cash donation to ensure that no child goes without at Christmas. “Through St. Enoch Centre’s support and the donations of hundreds of generous Glasgow shoppers, we were able to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children in Glasgow last Christmas. We hope to do the same and spread some festive joy this December.”
