A new Glasgow Poundland 'super-sized' store will open its doors next month much to the delight of shoppers.
The store is so big that Poundland have even submitted an application for a Brown Tourism Sign. BrownTourists signs, according to Gov.uk, are designed to help visitors find attractions and facilities. The website helpfully defines an attraction ‘as place for people to visit for pleasure or interest’.Situated next to JD Gyms the store is the latest addition to the retail park already home to major names including Burger King, Costa, Aldi, Greggs, Food Warehouse and B&M.
Poundland director of retail, Darren Kay, said: “We’re looking forward to opening the largest Poundland in Scotland. In fact, some may even say it’s a ‘beezer’ of a store!
