The former Millbrae Hill Cafe sadly closed just before Christmas last year with locals now welcomed back to the spot as it's been transformed into the trendy new coffee shop Spider Monkey.
Locals in the southside have been delivered good news after it was revealed a spot left vacant following the closure of a much-loved cafe has been given a new lease of life.
Now, the spot close to the Langside Battlefield Monument on Millbrae Road, has been transformed into a new coffee spot called Spider Monkey, which is due to have its official opening this weekend. Specialising in their own blends, the team at Spider Monkey confirmed they will not be a brunch spot and instead will focus on speciality coffees including those from guest roasters.
The team are also planning plenty of free events for people to come along and try out their coffees as well as other fun like their Latte Art Throwdowns.
