Organised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA), the project will see young people out and about with brushes, bin bags, litter-picking sticks, and high-visibility jackets, cleaning up neighbourhoods.

A dedicated group of teenagers will take to Glasgow 's streets on New Year's Day for an annual cleaning initiative, in a bid to 'keep Scotland beautiful'.

The organisation hosts several community service projects throughout the year, including tree planting, fundraising, blood donations, and street cleaning as part of their nationwide Mercy4Mankind campaign. "The New Year provides a meaningful opportunity to give back to our community and contribute to making Scotland a better place for everyone. By dedicating just a few hours, we can make a lasting impact, and we eagerly look forward to participating in this year’s New Year Street Clean-Up."
