The For All of Us entity spent over $8,000 on food, concerts and more, new reports show
Through a routine check of city filings, a reporter learned of a charitable fund that supports Mayor Todd Gloria’s pet causes. Unlike most charities, its setup lets it avoid making many public disclosures.about $12,000 in spending by an entity he called All of Us on a state Form 803 report last year. The filings record what are called behested payments, or donations made to charities or governmental agencies at an elected official’s behest.
Within days of being asked about the charity, the mayor signed 14 additional behested payment disclosures. Those records showed Gloria sought at least $30,000 in donations, including from donors with business ties to the city. The latest disclosures show the charity spent $747 at the Kebab Shop in early January to support the mayor’s State of the City address. It also paid $250 to the Young Lions Jazz Conservatory for a concert last month.
