Good Morning Britain was delayed as Adil Ray and Kate Garraway paused the live show to issue some 'breaking news'
On Friday's instalment of Good Morning Britain , Adil Ray joined forces with co-host Kate Garraway to bring viewers the latest headlines.
Addressing the audience, Kate began: "Good Morning, it's just after 7 o'clock and within the last few seconds well we have some breaking news." Before welcoming Shadow Chancellor Mel Stride to the programme, Kate acknowledged: "Before we unleash you on how dreadful these gross figures are, it should be pointed out that previously it was 0.7 then 0.5 and now 0.1 so the gross was on the slide already under your government."
The Shadow Chancellor was challenged by Kate as he began to elaborate, with her interjection: "But the numbers were going down is what I'm saying or are you disputing that?"
