Good Morning Britain's Dr Amir Khan was left silenced as a guest host snapped at him in a heated row over the NHS and the role of GPs as he spoke to Ed Vaizey
Dr Amir Khan clashed with Ed Vaizey on this Friday's episode, leading to a fiery moment when the columnist firmly cut him off. Charlotte Hawkins stepped in for Kate Garraway on Good Morning Britain this Friday, August 2, co-hosting the ITV morning show with Robert Rinder.
However, during the discussion with the political pundit, Dr Amir attempted to chime in only to be sharply silenced by him. He elaborated: "The minute you say 'pharmacists should do more, look after my blood pressure or my cholesterol', the GPs jump up and down and say 'you're taking a service away from us.'".
When Dr Amir sought to interject with "can I just say? ", he was abruptly interrupted as Ed Vaizey countered with "no, you can't interrupt", followed by a chuckle.
