New Good Morning Britain host Gordon Smart has quickly apologised for comments he made during a discussion about Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon's pregnancy announcement
New Good Morning Britain host Gordon Smart told viewers he had "a number for a good surgeon" for ex-EastEnders actor Joe Swash, following the news that he and wife Stacey Solomon are expecting their third child together.
Newcomer Gordon then quipped: "I've got a number for a good surgeon for Joe" adding that it's time for actor to "hang up his boots!" Taking to Twitter, one former viewer of the show wrote: "Hope you [Gordon] become a permanent fixture!! I might start watching again.if a decent bloke & great presenter like yourself is on."
Just days ago Gordon took to Instagram to share the news of his new hosting job, sharing a photo of himself on set, he wrote: "Looking forward to making my debut hosting @gmb this Thursday and Friday with @charlottehawkins1 @itv
