It returned to screens last night
Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb took to Instagram to explain why he and his husband Daniel were absent from the first episode of the latest series of the Channel 4 show.
Posting a selfie with his other half, Stephen wrote: "He’s home just in time for #gogglebox. We are not on this week as Daniel's been away sunning himself in Dubai." It came as the show returned to screens on Friday evening, February 24. The Liverpool Echo reports how fans said the couple had been missed. In the comments, one Instagram user said: "Ah missing you boys this week!"Another said: "Wondered where you were! Hope @lustig75 had a fabulous time." Another added: "Miss you hope you’re on the programme next week."
Gogglebox returned for its 21st series, and armchair favourites Sophie and Pete Sandiford were back as well as best friends Jenny and Lee and the Malone family.
