The 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed will open its doors later this week with the theme ‘The innovators – masterminds of motorsport’, focussing on innovation both on and off the circuit. Though we'll have to wait until doors open for the big reveal, Goodwood has revealed that the 2022 centre feature will celebrate 50 years ofM, showcasing some of the marque's most iconic models. This year's event will be host to a number of exciting launches from BMW M, with CEO Frank van Meel adding: 'I am particularly looking forward to unveiling a certain vehicle to the world’s public for the first time - a vehicle we have been waiting a long time for.
