Stephen Means, Nathan Baird and Andrew Gillis grade Devin Brown’s performance in Ohio State’s 35-7 season-opening win over Youngstown State.
“I felt like I had good energy,” Brown said. “I felt like I had good leadership. I was really rallying the guys. Two out of the three drives I was in we went down and scored. Would like to score on the third one, but overall I thought it was a good day having meaningful reps.
“That miss to Carnell should’ve been a touchdown pass, but it is what it is. I’ve just gotta learn from it and keep going.” Brown gave himself a C for a grade on his performance highlighting his lack of ability to “hit the easy throws” on Saturday.
