Ezno Fernandez was Chelsea’s final signing of the January transfer window. He was their eighth addition and Potter must decide by 11pm on Thursday which three of those he will include in his Champions League squad.
Returning faces will likely place more pressure on Potter to placate his squad following owner Todd Boehly’s spending spree, but he was optimistic that the added competition can work in the team’s favour. “We’ve got a lot of important games, and we need to improve our results.
