Police are looking for information on the master thief who they say made off with around 5,000 cars in Perry County.State Police listed the individual value of each car at $7 per toy—meaning that around $35,000 worth of matchbox cars could have been stolen.
State Police are looking for the culprit, who they say stole the collectible toys from a Mountain View Road home in Carroll Township some time in 2021. The victim, a Shermans Dale man, called police to report the theft on Jan. 18. “Anyone with information is urged to contact PSP Newport at 567-3110,” troopers wrote in a press release.
