The Great British Sewing Bee has left fans highly confused, after one contestant made reference to a godbrother in a conversation with judges Esme Young and Patrick Grant
The second episode of the Great British Sewing Bee got off to a brilliant start, when our favourite amateur sewers were tasked with taking on a series of sport-inspired challenges with a distinctive Olympic flair.
However, it was contestant Pascha who left viewers puzzled when she mentioned her famous relative while discussing her decision to create a Team GB inspired kit for her javelin thrower godbrother. She then went on to outline how she was creating a kit which featured seamless leggings with a zipped back letterbox pocket, alongside a racerback vest with contrast binding and statement side panels. Yet despite the eye catching design and high praise from the judges, many fans at home were left scratching their heads over what relation a godbrother was.
Wiktionary simply defines it as: "The son or godson of one's godparent, or the godson of one's parent."
