BBC presenter Gregg Wallace MBE quit Inside The Factory earlier this year after seven years. The 58-year-old said he ended his time on the popular show as he needs to focus on caring for autistic son.
However, reports claim the MasterChef star left the show after he was “rude” to his colleagues. As The Express reports, the BBC presenter reportedly offended certain female staff members with comments about their weight during a “friendly conversation”. “He was rude towards staff and continued to talk in a derogatory manner, especially to women,” said a source speaking to the Times.Now, Gregg has addressed the claims about his exit from the show. He told the same publication: "I've enjoyed doing [Inside the Factory] for a number of years and I've done hundreds of factories.
“I use humour to relax people. It's a tool I've used for lots of years. I never, ever set out to upset or offend anybody and I never would.In the interview, he also spoke out about his success as a presenter but accepted that times had changed and certain things could be controversial.
