Police have launched an urgent appeal to help trace a missing pensioner who vanished overnight
Authorities say this is 'very unusual' for the 71-year-old and 'concerns are growing' for his welfare.
Alexander has grey/white hair, balding on top with very close shaven sides and wears wire-framed glasses. He was last seen dressed in closed-toe beige sandals, navy shorts, a black or dark red t-shirt and possibly a beige jacket. In an appeal shared by Alexander's daughter Lydia Rylance Murdoch, she said the family are worried that he may have suffered a stroke and may be 'lost or confused'.
Posting to Facebook, she wrote: "As many of you know he had a stroke in December 2021 so we're worried something similar may have happened again and he might be lost or confused as this is very out of character for him."
