Home plate umpire Bruce Dreckman gave Francona the heave-ho after Cleveland’s skipper turned around and said something to third base umpire Malachi Moore. Francona had walked onto the field to protest after replay officials in New York overturned a safe call at second base that led to rookie Brayan Rocchio being ruled out.six days earlier after arguing that he should have been allowed to challenge a play, but was denied.
