Pep Guardiola has joked about playing in Manchester City’s clash against Liverpool just days after the World Cup final.
However, the next round of fixtures in the cup are currently scheduled to be played just days after the World Cup final in Qatar on December 20. In his pre-Brentford press conference, the Spaniard joked: “He’s going to play at left back, I’m going to play holding midfielder.”to represent their respective countries at the World Cup, and the most out of any other Premier League side.
