Golden Valley Electric Association to host in-person annual meeting on Thursday, April 27.
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Golden Valley Electric Association’s Annual Members’ Meeting is returning to an in-person status for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic .
The meeting will take place at Hering Auditorium in Lathrop High School, at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 27. To celebrate the return of meeting in person, GVEA will host an activities event, prior to the meeting, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event will include free food and family friendly activities such as face painting. It will also give the co-op and members a chance to have more specific discussions about topics such as right-of-way clearing and home construction projects.
During the meeting, topics such as future and current developments will be discussed along with finances and elections. Members are encouraged to attend and for those unable to attend, the meeting will be live streamed on
