Call it an ethereal trifecta. Maybe a luminous trio. A heavenly trinity! This past week, Gwyneth Paltrow, the patron saint of radiance, posted a photo of herself, her mother/actress Blythe Danner, and her 16-year-old daughter Apple. It felt plucked out of a lush pre-Raphaelite painting, if Goop had existed back in the mid-19th century. The three generations all posed wearing the, which was released on Sunday.
Like the photo to model the collection, the clothes indeed were made to be transferred from generation to generation. On the Goop website, G. Label is described as: “It’s a story as old as time: A mother holds onto a special dress she hopes to pass down to her daughter; daughter pines for the day she can ‘borrow’ said dress from her mother’s closet.” It’s nice to see that Gwyneth is putting that phrase into practice and dressing the whole family up in these uplifting, light outfits.
