The step adds two minutes in the shower, but a celebrity hairdresser swears by it
When it comes to haircare, a lot of people have figured out how to get their locks clean in a way that suits them.
But according to a hairdresser to the stars, we are all making one big mistake in the shower and it's down to a vital step that is skipped before applying conditioner. Without it, the product becomes "diluted", rendering it useless and resulting in a waste of conditioner. The expert, who caters to famous clients like Nicola Roberts and Laura Whitmore has shared his top tips to get the most out of your hair care.
"Long hair can hold a huge amount of water which then dilutes your lovely conditioner, leaving you with nothing but a watery residue."
