The post comes after Halsey confirmed her diagnosis with lupus and a rare T-cell disorder as well as the release of her new song Lucky, a track inspired by the Britney Spears song of the same name. 'it’s hard to want to engage in a space that is completely devoid of any kindness, sympathy, patience; or to be honest human decency. Especially after years of hiding from the interactions for fear that this EXACT thing would happen. I don’t know man. I almost lost my life. I am not gonna do anything that doesn’t make me happy anymore. I can’t spiritually afford it.
However, she positively added, 'After a rocky start, I slowly got everything under control with the help of amazing doctors.' In a separate post, she also opened up about her health battle in series of videos that appeared to document the singer receiving infusions and also showed her breaking down in tears.
