Prince Harry has given a full account of the infamous bridesmaid dress fitting
Prince Harry has revealed the exchange between Meghan Markle and his sister-in-law Kate over Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress. The Duke of Sussex claims the incident was largely driven by Kate, who was angered at having to wait a day to hear back from Meghan about the 'offending' garment ahead of the 2018 royal wedding.
Harry writes in his book, which came out at midnight in the UK after its premature release in Spain: "Meg didn't reply to Kate straight away. Yes, she had endless wedding-related texts, but mostly she was dealing with the chaos surrounding her father. "So the next morning she texted Kate that our tailor was standing by." Harry writes that Meghan said the tailor was named Ajay and was at 'KP' which is Kensington Palace.Kate: "Charlotte's dress is too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on a home."
