Harry Styles is bringing men’s bell-bottoms back.
Spotted in London last night, Styles hit the town in a pair of tricky men’s bell-bottoms—and totally pulled them off. The flared jean look has been slowly creeping onto runway shows all month long, and feels undeniably fresh after seasons of pin-thin denim. The singer’s were in a dark blue wash, flaring out at the ankle to expose his dapper tasseled loafers.
To balance out the proportion of his jeans, he wore a classic red V-neck sweater up on top, which made the whole outfit feel more wearable, less costumey. His fistful of rings also added a cool finish. So is it time for men to hit vintage shops in search of those once-ridiculed bell-bottoms? When both the catwalks and fashion-forward stars are on to the look, then the answer’s probably yes.
