A heartbroken mother of a young boy that was killed with his father in a road accident on holiday in Turkey has paid tribute to her "kind" son.
Ms Dowling flew straight to Turkey to be with her eldest son, Cian, 14, who was holidaying with his younger brother and father, his partner and her kids when the tragedy happened in the resort of Alanya.Ms Dowling said she still did not know exactly what had happened. She added: "He loves drawing and he loves swimming and he loves golf - he loves all the things that normal 10 year old kids don't like. He wasn't like the rest of them.
"They came with me to Lanzarote in May, just the two of them. They had a ball. They loved the water park.She added: "What breaks my heart is he was supposed to land today and I know he was dying to come home. "I said what do you miss about home and the both said, WI-FI, X-Box and Chinese takeaways and me of course."
