Helen Skelton runs for cover as she’s caught up in brawl after partying with Strictly pals
Strictly Come Dancing finalist Helen Skelton was among those innocently caught up in a 3am street brawl after a number of the Strictly live tour stars headed home after enjoying a night out.
Finishing their night at around 3am the group is said to have stumbled upon the violent altercation as the headed back to the Dakota hotel. They continued: “None of the Strictly people were involved in the fighting, they were innocent passers-by caught up in it. A bottle came close to hitting Helen, smashing right by her feet, but she jumped out of the way. She hid in the alleyway for a few seconds until the coast was clear, but she looked shaken afterwards."
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 2.56am on Friday, police were called to a report of a fight involving a group of males in Duncan Street and Call Lane in Leeds city centre."He remains in custody and enquiries are ongoing. There were no reports of any injuries."
