HHS secretary calls abortion pill ruling un-American
“What you saw by that one judge in that one court in that one state — that’s not America,” Xavier Becerra said.
Becerra warned that this case not only impacts the most common method of abortion in the country but could affect other drugs that the FDA has approved or might still approve. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said on CNN that there are grounds for ignoring an abortion pill ban, saying: “The reality of our courts right now is very disturbing. This ruling is an extreme abuse of power. It is an extraordinary example of judicial overreach.”
