Strictly Come Dancing will return to our TVs for another series
The countdown to the launch of this year's Strictly Come Dancing series is nearing its end. Les Dennis, Amanda Abbington and Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas are among the celebs taking to the dancefloor for this year's show.
Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will reveal the Strictly Come Dancing 2023 couples during a launch show on Saturday, September 16. The show will be aired on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 6.35pm. Judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse will also feature as part of the show as 15 brand new celebrities are welcomed to the Strictly ballroom. The professional dancers will also perform three routines including a group number with this year's cast and a performance with all four judges.
The celebrities will be coupled up with professional dancers on the launch show on September 16. The professionals taking part this year are: Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Giovanni Pernice, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vito Coppola.
Strictly It Takes Two will also return to BBC Two on Monday, September 25 from 6.30pm. Although the date for the first live show is yet to be confirm, this may suggest it could be Saturday, September 23.
