Yates and Milwaukee's Blake Perkins then conducted an 11-pitch battle that included six straight foul balls. But Yates caught Perkins looking on a backdoor slider to end it for his second save of the season. Atlanta spotted Milwaukee two runs before scoring three in the second, two in the third and one in the fifth.
In the third, Ozzie Albies drew a leadoff walk before Riley hit a two-run shot to right. It was Riley's 21st homer of the season.
