Homelander blasts Thor with his laser eyes in a funny LoveAndThunder poster shared by the official TheBoysTV Twitter account. The hilarious edit is made by blacknoir.edits on Instagram.
The Boys has shared a brand new poster imagining Homelander taking over for the God of Thunder on the poster of Thor: Love and Thunder. Love and Thunder, which is the second Thor film helmed by Kiwi director Taika Waititi and the fourth Thor solo film overall, premiered in theaters on July 8.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Although superhero media has been at an all-time high for the past decade or so, July 8 was a particularly jam-packed date. That day also marked the premiere of the final episode of The Boys season 3. The Prime Video series is a completely different take on the superhero mythos, following a team known as The Boys who are led by Billy Butcher and bent on taking down the superhero team known as The Seven.
Unfortunately, this imaginary crossover between The Boys and Thor: Love and Thunder is unlikely to ever happen. While the boys is not strictly established within the official DC Extended Universe, it is still a DC Comics property. Therefore, it is unlikely to ever meaningfully interact with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though thankfully The Boys' brand allows them to cross the line, Deadpool style, at least in this way on social media.
