This must have been terrifying
Two men have been jailed after they robbed a fellow resident at a homeless shelter in Nottingham. Jack Dennis and Gervais Davis entered the victim's room at a hostel in London Road before attacking him and stealing his Nike trainers, jeans, two mobile phones, bank card and food.
Dennis then put the victim in a headlock and pulled him to his knees, before repeatedly punching him in the ribs. After the attack on November 28 last year, Dennis threatened to stab the victim “18 times” if he told anyone, the court heard. He added that if he called the police he would arrange to have him raped. Dennis and Davis were arrested and charged after CCTV footage showed them entering the room at the time of the incident.
