'“Homelessness can happen to anyone. We have seen a marked increase in our client list over the last 12 months'
Mazuma Mobile has renewed its support to a vital service after the amount of homelessness increases in Lancaster and Morecambe.
Phil Moore, the centre manager, said: “Homelessness can happen to anyone. We have seen a marked increase in our client list over the last 12 months and the cost-of-living crisis will have an affect over the coming months. The charity costs around £150,000 a year to run, with Mazuma gifting £500. The service has recently purchased a new building in Aalborg Place which will allow the charity to expand and provide updated facilities.
