Hong Kong parents plead with police for the safety of their children caught up in siege of campus
HONG KONG—A group of parents sat on a footpath in front of a half dozen heavily armored police officers Monday afternoon, pleading for the safety of their children holed up inside a university campus surrounded by phalanxes of armed riot cops.
