Hop on board the Lancashire Santa train that's been running for decades
It's not every day you can meet Father Christmas after riding a train - even in the festive season. The Santa Train returns to Windmill Animal Farm in Burscough once again for 2022.
The Santa train, which is understood to have come from the original Festival Gardens in Liverpool, has been running for decades, with the picture above taken in 1999. It also runs as a regular train at the family attraction, which is located just outside of Ormskirk, throughout the year.Passengers should also be on the look out for the farm's herd of Fallow deer at the lake view station.
The West Lancashire family farm features a number of areas for visitors to navigate and enjoy, including the animal fields, paddocks and barns, outdoor and indoor playgrounds, electric trucks, adventure trail and even its own windmill. Animals living on the farm include donkeys, pigs and sheep.
