“Hadestown,” a jazz-inflected musical based on a mythological journey to the underworld, emerged as the big winner Sunday night at the Tony Awards, Broadway’s annual ceremony recognizing its top shows and performers.
The event, hosted by late-night television favorite James Corden and featuring a star-studded lineup of presenters, was held at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.
