House Democrats are also expected to vote this week to appoint Rep. Katherine Clark as whip and Rep. Peter Aguilar as Democratic caucus chairman to replace Reps. Steny Hoyer and Jim Clyburn in the no. 2 and no. 3 spots; Clyburn is running for assistant leader.
