A 'garage-sized' house has come on the market - and has left house hunters divided. The two-bed property, in affluent residential area of Hampstead, London , has attracted attention for its £1,395,000 price tag.
"An open plan double aspect living/dining room, guest cloakroom and modern kitchen are arranged over the ground floor. On the lower ground floor there is a large glass covered hall, principal bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, second bedroom, study, family bathroom and utility room. The post appears to have left house hunters divided over the price and size, as @tropicalplod commented: "1100sqft isn’t that small. And Hampstead is just about as expensive as it comes. I actually quite like how modest it is from the front."
@WhyOhWhy60 then pointed out: "There is a nicely decorated 3 bedroom terrace about 500m away, NW2 instead of a NW3 postcode, on street permit parking instead of off road for £300K less."
