The Highlanders began with a pair of wins over Oak Ridge and New Caney before sweeping Conroe, 10-0 and 12-4, to close the weekend. The Highlanders outscored their opponents 34-5 during the streak.The Lions earned a pair of wins to remain unbeaten in District 21-5A. The Lions started the week by beating Montgomery, 5-1, and made it eight consecutive with a 12-0 shutout of the Bears on Friday. The Lions have outscored their opponents 66-5 during the streak.
