Police activity got underway Monday evening on Houston's north side, where human remains were uncovered.
A body with signs of decomposition was found inside a garbage bag Monday evening, the Houston Police Department said.HPD said it is investigating a call that came in at about 7:30 p.m. in the 600 block of East 40th Street, which is just off Main Street in the city's Independence Heights neighborhood.
