The driver, who admitted to being asleep and having a"very long day," stopped around 4 a.m. after traveling north on the freeway, Sgt. David Rose said after the crash. Police also believe the driver was intoxicated, he said.
A driver who was asleep and possibly drunk was hit from behind by a Houston police officer's cruiser Saturday morning."Fortunately, neither of those people was transported," he said."The driver of the Civic has small cuts but no serious injures and refused transport."
