Houston police: teen shot and killed after argument over cell phone
Houston Police Department officers responded to a shooting at 10 p.m. Saturday night and found a teen with gunshot wounds. He later died from his injuries.A 19-year-old was shot around 10 p.m. Saturday night in northwest Houston after having an argument with three other teens about a cell phone, according to Houston police.
The victim was in an apartment building at 6200 West Tidwell Road when one of the other three teens pulled out a gun and shot him an unknown number of times, according to the Houston Police Department. He was then taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The three suspects in the shooting fled the scene, but witnesses to the shooting were able to identify them to police, officials said.
