A Houston woman has been arrested on accusations of stealing numerous checks from churches in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Flower Mound police said.
Authorities saw her at a Flower Mound church Nov. 17. and initiated a traffic stop, where they discovered she was in possession of checks made out to multiple churches, police said. Munoz was not named on any of the accounts, police said. A follow-up investigation has since linked her to more 50 mail thefts in North Texas, police said Saturday.
