The Prada tote bag has won over a whole host of A-list fans since—but Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy will always be its most famous champion.
Bessette-Kennedy – who rose to fame when she first began dating John F Kennedy Jr in 1994 – was photographed with the bag on several occasions during the ’90s, whether paired with an understated black jumper and camel skirt, or with a timeless black Prada coat. Streamlined yet functional, the tote bag epitomised her minimalist approach to fashion.
