My dermatologist said, “It will grow back,” and it mostly has.

I spoke to a few hair stylists about your dilemma, and the one thing they all stressed is hydration. The drier your strands are, the more moisture they will absorb from the humidity in the air, causing each hair — from the baby ones to the six-inch-long strands — to swell up and stick out.
